Trophies are won by the photographer gaining the highest total qualifying marks in each competition.
Only the top three marks in each competition entry count.

The photographer gaining the highest total of qualifying points from all the above Competitions

Danny Keane Memorial Trophy
The best PDI or best Print judged as image of the year
Peter Driver Memorial Shield
Winner of the Winlaton Trophy PDI competition
Bill Cook Cup
Winner of the Winlaton Trophy print competition. Because of restricted entry conditions points awarded in these two competitions will not count towards Photographer of the Year.
Marking System
Each picture starts with 5 points for entering competition Judge awards: 1st, 2nd, 3rd & any highly commended. Then points added as follows:
- 5 points for 1st place
- 4 points for 2nd place
- 3 points for 3rd place
- 2 points for highly commended
- 1 point for all other entries
Note: When 4 pictures are entered into any competition. Only the top 3 marks are counted.
