Our eleventh outing of the season took us on our doorstep to Lands Wood.
Just a ten minute walk from our usual meeting point at the West End Club lies Lands Wood. It’s an ancient woodland site consisting mainly of oak and birch alongside birch, beech, alder and rowan. An extensive path network allows good access, and it’s quite a compact wood so easy to explore.
