We had a HUGE entry for our last PDI Competition of the season, with the theme of “Architecture”. We invited Bill Broadley back to judge, I think he couldn’t understand why he’d agreed when he saw all 72 entries! But what a sterling job he did, delivering his verdict on all of our images with his usual insights and constructive criticism. He rattled through, spending just enough time on each image… he didn’t even have time to take a breath! Bill said that while he had chosen his top three easily, he couldn’t whittle down his six Highly Commended’s and said what a fantastic standard the competition was. He also said that he could see the difference every time he returned, our standard just keeps getting better! But when it came down to results evening, the lucky winner was Lesley with her Regal Bridge in first place, Peter King closely followed in second with “Casa 22a” and third place went to Mark Ainsley with “Centre for Brain Research”. HCs went to Lesley Hudspith, Mandy Hedley, Tracey Ainsley and Paul Hattam. Well done to all winners, and to everyone that entered.
