It was a nailbiter of an evening this week, when we received the results for our first PDI Competition of the season! We asked Trevor Woods from Barnard Castle to come and judge it for us, and asked him to select his favourites from the 57 images our members entered.
Trevor started with his “unique” insights into our efforts and he selected six Highly Commendeds and 3rd, 2nd and 1st places. The HCs went to Mandy Hedley for “Well Caught”, Paul Hattam with “Calm Water”, Brigitte Appleton with “Autumn Light”, Brian Curry with “Beamish Museum at Dusk” and Dave Bilclough scored two, with “The Stairway” and “The Hummingbird”.
In third place was “Steam” by Vera Singh, second went to Lesley Hudspith with “Ghost Dancer” and she also got first place too, with “White Tailed Sea Eagle”. Big congrats to all who were placed, and well done to all members that entered.
