What a fantastic set of images we saw tonight in our second PDI Competition of the season, and all under the theme of “Water/Seascapes”. Along to judge it for us was our friend Lynda Golightly, who said that the standard was really high, and she’d had a job whittling down the entries and choosing her winners! As ever, Lynda delivered a fantastic narrative on each image, gave us her thoughts and cc with interaction and positivity, and it was such a good competition, the time ran over as everyone was enjoying it so much. But there has to be a winner, and Les Hill triumphed with his image of Gullfoss, Lynda couldn’t separate the first and second places, in second was Lesley Hudspith with “Sea Squall over the Minch”. In third was Andrew Baldridge with “Forever Photographed”, fourth was “Pollution” by Gerry Adcock and fifth was “Small White Water” by Paul Watson. HCs went to Paul Watson, Peter Chrisp, Dave Bilclough and Lesley Hudspith. A huge thank you to Lynda for coming along and giving us her thoughts, she did a great job!
