What a fantastic evening we had for the last night of 2023 at our BIG Christmas Party! Everyone was in great spirits and attended suitably dressed in the best Christmas outfits that we have ever seen, the competition was FIERCE! We started off with the BIG CHRISTMAS QUIZ which was supplied by Shawn and aided by his wife Tracy, and let me tell you that a better cazoo player would not be found… EVER!
We had a picture round – Guess the Christmas Film, then on to guessing place names of local spots round the north east. We then went on to a VERY suggestive round where a description was given, and we had to guess what Shawn and Tracy were talking about… I can tell you there were a good few titters, red faces and… ooo matron! You had to be there!
Then we were treated to Tracy playing sitcom theme tunes on her cazoo, and we had to guess… it was a nailbiting finish but Mandy, Lesley, Gordon and Brian just swung it and came out on top! Fantastic Christmas Quizzing, so a big thank you to Shawn and especially Tracy too! We then tucked into our Legendary Christmas Buffet as everyone was starving, so once that was done, we had our raffle! Everyone who brought a prize took home a prize, there were some very happy members!
We then had our Christmas Outfit Competition and our Brigitte won for the ladies and Big Paul B won for the gents! There was only one last thing to do, and the lucky 3 members who fought through to win, Jen, Colin and Shawn, took home some Amazon vouchers to buy what they really wanted for Christmas! All in all, a very successful, hilarious and fun evening was had by us all!
