Best of the Best PDI Competition Results

Well it was the finale of our club competitions this week, with the results of the Best of the Best! This competition is all of the winners in our club competitions going head to head with each other and has two sections, PDIs and Prints. Each competition is judged and up to 6 Highly Commended and 3rd, 2nd and 1st Places are awarded in each. The first placed print then goes up against the first placed PDI and whichever is chosen, becomes our Image of the Year! Along to judge it for us was one of our favourite judges… David Ord all the way from sunny Prudhoe, and he entertained us all evening with his unique humour, insights and constructive criticism of our efforts. He started on a serious note… he explained that it was such a hard competition to judge as every entry was of superb standard and he even went as far as to say that WCC is up there with the best clubs in our region for the standard required. High praise indeed! David started with the PDIs and awarded HCs to Mandy Hedley, Lesley Hudspith, Vera Singh and Barry Singh. In 3rd was Paul Hattam, 2nd was awarded to Dave Bilclough and in first was Lesley Hudspith! Well done Lesley and all who got placed… but don’t forget, each and every entry was a winner!
