I joined the camera club in 2012 and didn't know much about photography, except that I loved to take photographs.
I have a passion for wildlife and landscape photography, although I will take a shot of absolutely anything.
A year after joining I was asked to take over the role of programme secretary and I've been doing that ever since.
The club has become a family to me and I love everything and everyone in it and hope to continue as part of that family for as long as I can.
This last season 21-22 has been my most successful. In November '21 I scored the highest possible number of points, of 30, in the South Tyne print competition and in May I won "image of the year" at my club, with my image of "A new day dawns".
