Our External Competition Secretary, Gerry Adcock came along on Tuesday and explained all about our governing bodies, the Northern Counties Photographic Federation and the Photographic Alliance of Great Britain. Something that all of our members need to know, and Gerry explained all about how they both came to be. He then moved on to explaining how you can obtain letters after your name… and what they all meant. Les Hill brought two of his panels along for us to look at, and we could see for ourselves the standard of work required to obtain such a merit. Gerry also brought one of his panels along too, and explained how he came to submitting the images that were shown. A very interesting and informative evening, clearly explained and demonstrated by the boys… thank you so much!
