WCC Auction Night!

What a hoot! Tonight was our legendary WCC Auction Night, where members unload all of their tat… I mean, unrequired goods/items that they no longer have a use for, all in aid of our club funds! Peter King stepped into Shawn’s shoes as our Auctioneer, and mind… he’s found his vocation in life, he was amazing! His knowledge of everything that our members brought in was second to none, his repertoire was fast flowing and boy was he funny… we didn’t stop laughing all night!!! So much so, that a lady from the History Society was sent in to see what we were all laughing at! Dave was a godsend in keeping tabs of who bought what, and kept a running tally to collect monies at the end of the evening. He later told us that nearly £230 was raised, that’s totally fantastic! So a huge thank you to all of you who came along, brought goods to sell and bidded on our lots, what a fab evening we all had. THANK YOU ALL!
